Can you believe it? It snow in Texas-twice! In all my years living here we've never had this much snow! It was a winter wonderland the morning of March 4th. Because we rarely get snow in Texas, our school district announced that school would be delayed by 2 hours. The kids were so excited that they put on their coats and shoes and went out to play at 6:45 a.m. Ashton said, "Mom, it looks like a frosted cake outside." Justin was so excited that he went late into work so that he could take pictures of it. He even said that the snow made him homesick for Idaho. The funny thing is that it was about 60 degrees in the afternoon and it all went away.
However, two days later, on March 6th, all of North Texas was under a huge snow storm- it was like a blizzard! Schools were closing left and right! Justin got home from work early and picked up Kay-Lynn early from school. The next day school was delayed again by two hours. The kids loved it!

It did Snow- in March!

Cute pics and so fun that Justin went in late to play.
Snow?!? How fun! We got snow for 15 minutes last year, but I missed the whole thing. I was at Costco (no windows) when it happened. When I went to pick up Megan from Kindergarten the kids were bouncing off the walls. The entire school came outside and played in it while it came down. It melted upon impact, so I never saw it. *sigh*
