My sister Hayley Peterson married her high school sweetheart
Justin Marshall on Thursday, August 12th. The wedding was not just a one day affair, but rather four days of fantastic family fun! The activities kicked off the night before the wedding with close friends and family over for a Fiesta style dinner at my parents home. It was very festive- complete with Marachi band and pinata -with money inside! Thursday was the wedding ceremony at the San Antonio, TX Temple, followed by thegorgeous reception at the Spring Hill Country Club.
My little family headed to a hotel that night and went back the next day to my parents home for a family brunch. Later that evening (Friday) all the Peterson/ English family celebrated Grandma and Grandpa English's 60th anniversary by going out to dinner to Gangis Grill. The celebration continued with a "money hunt" for the, and of course cake! The rest of the memorable night was spent laughing and enjoying each other's company while watching old home movies. Saturday morning the newlyweds invited us to spend the day with them at the JW Marriott resort where they had obtained free guest passes for us at the wonderful water park! It was Awesome!
After hours of fun in the sun we went home to Mom's and had yummy Ellie's pizza. We hung out and played games with the relatives that hadn't flown home yet. Sunday morning we packed up and headed out.
