Took my little girl to get her ears pierced tonight...she was so excited! She had to be 8 years old, and while she's been 8 for 9 months now, she didn't have the nerve or desire till now.
When she was sat in the chair and the Claire's technician pierced her ears, she cried a little. When I was watching her I thought I was watching myself 25 years ago. She looked just like me and acted so similar to me.
But all in all she was excited! And what made it even more fun is that Kay-Lynn got to get it done with her good friend Addyson. She's so proud of her earrings and puts her solution on twice a day with out me ever having to remind her.
