We've been so blessed with the Elementary school Kay-Lynn goes to. It's exceptional! It's a bran new school with the most positive principal and the most wonderful teachers. (And it's right down the street- so we walk). Well, all 5 of the first grade classes spent weeks preparing for their African presentation. (One of the teachers even lived in South Africa for a number of years.) They had costumes, learned songs, had parts to say, and played African instruments! All the girls brought baby dolls from home and they were fastened to each girls back with cloth- just like native African mothers. Here's so fun pics of Kay-Lynn! I was so proud of her and the rest of the first grade! Way to go kids!

That looks like fun and what a memorable learning experience for her. It's not likely something she'll forget! I love having a good elementary school for my girl too. Doesn't it brings so much peace knowing that your child is somewhere great where they truly care about her?
Kay-Lynn is adorable!
