A MINI FAMILY REUNION-PETERSON STYLE!

This past memorial Day weekend I went home to my parents house for a "Mini" Family Reunion. All my siblings and a few super close friends were there, including Hayley's boyfriend Justin. (He just got home from a two year church mission in South Africa.)

We had a blast!!!!! We spent about 4 1/2 days together and made some great memories. Preston and Jenny blessed their baby Kylie. We went to our favorite family restaurant for breakfast: Las Palapas. We saw the movie The Night in the Museum #2, (Which is the best family movie ever!) and we went to a Memorial Day Pool Party.

Then on Sunday afternoon we had a family Browning Bake Off. Everyone had teams with matching aprons and made their favorite brownie recipe from scratch. (Except my Justin and I-we used a box mix! He He.) My sister Elyse's Team won-but it was sure fun! The prize was a large bottle of Milk Chocolate Body Bath.

After the Bake Off, my Mom surprised all of us "big kids" and sent us on a money Easter egg hunt. It's a Easter tradition that my parents started a long time ago and have upheld for years! Mom and Dad wanted to do the egg hunt even though Easter had passed because nobody was home for Easter this year. There was a total of $51.00 to be found! It was so fun! Thanks Mom and Dad for the wonderful memories! Thanks for always letting my siblings and me "Stay Young at Heart!"
